Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins who is also known as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins in the United States as well as Mexico, is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She is currently employed by ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. Since 2016, Collins has joined ESPN. Her mother is the TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is bilingual since the age of nine. Her skills were instrumental in securing her first job as a production assistant for Univision Miami and Univision Miami, where she assisted the production of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Then, in St. Petersburg, she was later recruited as a reporter by the CBS station to work as the sports reporter. In 2009, the reporter relocated into Rio Grande Valley Texas where she worked for KNVO TV 48 Univision as and Fox2 News. In addition to reporting on issues related to trafficking in drugs and immigration on both sides of Mexico-Texas border, she worked as an anchor for the 5 p.m. Spanish newscast a reporter and later anchor of anchoring the 9 p.m. newscast, which was in English and also another reporter for the 10 p.m. Spanish newscast. Eventually, they settled in Mexico City and she was born on the 22nd of November in 1985. There is an older sister. The family relocated to Miami after moving from Mexico in the US. Soon after the family split up, and, in 1995 Fabio Fajardo got married again. He passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. She stayed with her family in Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime and was given the opportunity of a job. Antonietta still a senior at high school and had a clear idea of the path she wanted. While deciding if Mount Union is the right choice for her, Antonietta decided to go visit the campus. Then, she fell in love with the school. The university offered her the opportunity to study a major. After completing her high school education she attended the University to pursue media studies. Professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was member of her class, developed a lasting relationship with the student. Professor Bergmann was a great influence on her by his passion for journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
